Dear Family, including the little ones, now who is the youngest granddaughter?

This week has flown by so fast. We have been going out a long way at least it seems so but they say it is 10 miles or such. Sunday evening we wanted to contact some people so we went up to highway 12 and then went over the bridge east into Louisiana and visited with the Pool family she comes to meetings but he is not a member they have grown boys and tend one granddaughter who we saw at their home. We wanted to go out and find two members one comes to church and the other has a habit and does not come. Could not find them it was 18 miles up towards the north part of the state so we went back and shared time with the Pool family and showed them the video of the Testament Book of Mormon and the bible comparison they enjoyed it. It seems like the families do not have many visitors here everyone just hibernates in this hot weather. So we have contacted several families where there is a word of wisdom condition and can we realize how it shuts the window of opportunity in the church and cuts away the blessings in the gospel. I think you can create in your minds the effects of such a decision.

I explained to the missionaries the decision making model and how we have peace and then a problem comes and then we have to recognize the problem and make decisions then act and we go back into a state of peace.

Pools took us out to their pond where the alligator is living in the water and we tempted him to come and get food and then took a picture of him; he is about 7 feet long. Mom has documentary pictures for your observation. Monday we had good luck we went to our newly organized family home evening one sister brought a muffin type bread with a little sausage in it has a cero type name, but it tasted pretty good. There were 7 there besides we missionaries. I gave them a big and a little job. 1, to memorize their favorite scripture, 2, to choose two of their favorite hymns out of the song book and memorized them for spiritual comfort and something we can think and bring into our minds when the devil wants us to think of bad things. We will see if they get a song memorized coming Monday. We have contacted over two hundred and fifty Members here in the Orange ward. Have over 30 who have moved, 17 who want their names taken off the church rolls. So we are about 95 percent completed with this city and suspect we will be transferred in a month or two. We asked the mission president what should happen and he said he did not know, but he was just new and had not yet had a chance to evaluate all of the mission needs. The sister JoAnna who we baptized is doing well but the devil is trying to distract her with problems, we explained to her that that was a normal process and we have to just stay on the straight and narrow path, read 2 Nephi 31 vrs 12 to 330 great blessing are waiting us at the end of the path. Mom and I have been reading the book of Mormon, Ether to understand it more. We took one set of missionaries up to another town to go to a dentist he had a root cannel and it hurt a lot. We take them a lot of times. We saw the church broadcast of the 24 July the Ormond’s who sang at brother Dailey he came down here from Idaho and married a catholic women and went to church for many years until she died and now he comes tour church. He has a 70-inch flat screen; I guess that is good, I just listened. He lives over 15 miles into west Louisiana at Vinton that is where Carl the young man who was baptized three days before we arrived and we taught him the gospel.

Well we hope you are all in a happy state, I like you idea of getting together 1 time each month to have a family rendezvous, not our car, and a good time.
