We just arrived home from Vidor where we had President’s interviews. They are really great people willing to spend three years here in Texas where we are only going to spend one year.

Last evening our appointment fell through but we visited a young family whom we gave a Book of Mormon too when he was repairing our air conditioner. They were very receptive to the lesson given by the elders for we had taken them with us to our other appointment. They will be teaching this couple anyway because we will be leaving next week. I got to hold their new baby. He is the same age that Madyson was when we left home. It was fun to hold him. We have completed everything we can here accept that we will be giving a lesson tonight to a nurse that we met at Brother Martins home a couple of days ago. She really lives out a long ways so I hope we can get a hold of her to verify our coming.

We have started to pack. We really don’t have much but it will take time because we need to clean so that we can have our deposit back which will be part of next months rent because we broke our contract. We are getting anxious to leave.
