Thursday we met with the Bishop and gave him our report. We went through members in this ward and told him about them. We think that he was over whelmed with the number of people that we had seen. We gave him one for the Stake President as well.

We called the north elders to come with us to see Carol. When we arrived we sat down, had prayer and started our lesson. Her husband was in the back and he was really unset that we were there. Carol asked us to leave because she wouldn’t go against her husband. We think that she would come into the church if her husband wasn’t so much against it. She is still reading the Book of Mormon. We told her to call us if she had any questions about her reading. We felt really bad. Satan is working overtime to keep people out of the church.

We spent sometime with Caroline Baker. JoAnna wasn’t home so we told her about our being transferred. Jack came in and he just doesn’t understand why we move around so much. He says that he just gets to know the missionaries and then they are transferred. None of us are here to stay.

We had dinner at Fred’s. We had crawfish pie. It was really good. We took the elders with us. On the way home we stopped at the ward house for a wedding reception. Sister Palfrey’s son got married in the Bountiful Temple and had a reception here plus one at home. We finally met her other son who is less active.
