Took the elders to the dentist about an hour away. It really rained and rained. We were going to stop in Vidor for lunch and the water was so high that a car was stuck. It was up to the top of his hubcaps so we didn’t stop. We did go through water that was two feet deep to get back onto the freeway. All along the freeways they have what is called feeder roads and you could stay all day on the feeder road and never get on the freeway. I think that it is very unique.
We have stayed in our apartment today because of the rain. I did a lot of paper work and got it caught up so that if we are moved then it will be completed. We do have scripture class tonight.
These pictures are what's left over from Rita two years ago. There are still many homes that are damaged or not on a foundation any more.
